Khailee Ng

Khailee Ng is a managing partner at U.S. venture capital firm 500 Global and its 500
Southeast Asia family of funds. He has led more than 180 seed investments in Southeast Asian tech startups, including unicorns Grab, Carousell, Bukalapak, Carsome, Prenetics, and other regional champions. Prior to 500, he was the founder of Groupsmore (acquired by Groupon) and Malaysia’s largest online media company, Says.com (acquired by Media Prima).

As new technology and evolving consumer landscapes continue to disrupt industries, Khailee focuses on discovering patterns of economic opportunity and backing the entrepreneurs who realize them. Vishal Harnal

Vishal Harnal is a managing partner at U.S. venture capital firm 500 Global and its 500 Southeast Asia family of funds. Vishal is a Kauffman Fellow and has taught programmes on venture capital and
entrepreneurship at Stanford, INSEAD and the Singapore-MIT Alliance. Vishal also sits on the expert panel of the Wealth Management Institute of Singapore, and is an office bearer at the Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA).

Husain Albar

Husain Albar is the Director of Investments at U.S. venture capital firm 500 Global for its 500 Southeast Asia family of funds. He specializes in fund management, portfolio optimization, due diligence, research and growth-stage investments.

Since joining the company in 2018, he has led and supported over 110 investments in Southeast Asia startups, including Stockbit, eFishery, and Parcel Perform. Husain continues to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem through data, research & analytics, fundraising, investments, and portfolio management.

Prior to 500, Husain did mergers & acquisitions at Maybank Investment Bank where he spent over 6 years leading buy-side and sell-side M&As, IPOs and other fundraising exercises via debt & equity. He supported the IPO listing of TPI Polene Power Pcl in Thailand, IPO listing of Icon Offshore Bhd, demerger of Sime Darby Bhd, disposal of Konsortium Logistik Bhd by DRB-Hicom Bhd, privatization of Ingress Corporation Bhd, among other projects.

Associate Director, 500 Southeast Asia

Amanda Cham

Amanda Cham is the Associate Director of Strategic Operations at U.S. venture capital firm 500 Global for its 500 Southeast Asia family of funds. Amanda leads strategic initiatives, investment deals, development of new fund structures, and oversees all aspects of fund operations.

Since joining the company in 2020, Amanda has led the structuring and operationalizing of an early-stage fund, a growth-stage fund, and two special purpose vehicles (SPV) for companies valued above $1 billion. Amanda also supports over 270+ companies across multiple sectors in 500 Southeast Asia’s portfolio.

Prior to 500, Amanda practiced law at a top-tier international law firm where she
specialized in financial services, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate law. She regularly advised financial institutions and fintech companies on fund formation, as well as the offering and structuring of financial and non-financial products. She also supported the listing of CMC REIT (HKEX: 1053) amongst other projects.
